Chandigarh, January 10, 2015: On the directions of the Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, the state government has filed an application in the Supreme Court of India for seeking permission to consider and decide applications of the life convicts seeking remissions and pre mature release in the interests of the justice.
